US tech giant Apple is investigating allegations that one of its suppliers illegally hired student workers to assemble its popular Apple Watch at a factory in the southwestern city of Chongqing, China.

Hong Kong-based labour rights group Sacom issued a report last week claiming that Apple supplier Quanta Computer had been illegally using students on the Apple Watch production line at its Chinese factory.
