Amin Modad: Liberia’s New Commerce Minister, A Man With Passion
As some quarters of Liberians seek explanation over his nationality of Liberia’s Commerce Minister designate, Amin Modad has shared a photo of he and his Liberian Mother.
Some segregationists and conservative Liberians have been questioning President Joseph N. Boakia’s decision to name Amin Modad as Commerce Minister.
Modad once served as Chairman of JNB’s Unity Party, now ruling Party of Liberia. He is credited for revamping the Party during its most challenging days.
Modad is a well-established Businessman who has approximately 10 million United States Dollars in assets including three businesses, a resort, Hotel and Mineral Water company in Liberia.
He was born in Liberia to a Liberian mother and a Lebanese Father. Young Modad graduated from St. Patrick High and enrolled at the University of Liberia before traveling to the US for his Masters from the Phoenix University.
