Members of the Emergency Response Unity (ERU) of the Liberia National Police have arrived in Maryland County amid a huge protest from hundreds of women and motorcycles in demand of justice to restore calm in that part of the Country.
According to report, over the past days, protesters in the hundreds stormed the commercial City of Pleebo and Harper in what they called serious demand of justice for the motorcycle who was reportedly killed recently by unknown person, and was dumped in the bush.
Many hope the presence of the police, especially those from the ERU will help to store calm in Maryland County, in order to allow normal businesses to take place.
