Amid Detractors’ Negative Propaganda That Koffa Will Not Travel To America, The Deputy Speaker As Usual Has Arrived In U.S.
Amid negative propaganda by detractors that the Deputy Speaker of the 54th National Legislature, and Lawmaker of Grand Kru County District # 2 Representative, Cllr. Jonathan Fonati Koffa will not travel to the United States due to reasons best known to them, the Deputy Speaker with the disbelieve of his opponent and detractors has arrived in the United States as usual.
Despite his regular official and private visits to the United States, several of his critics are doing all to negatively misinform the Liberian people that the Speaker of the 54th National Legislature who is also opting for the speakership of the 55th National Legislature will not travel to the United States for any visit, but this insinuation by detractors has been proven wrong.
According to GNN Liberia contact in the U.S., the Liberian Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives arrived in the United States for private visit immediately after the certification by the National Elections Commission (NEC) of all those who won their respective seats in both houses, the House of Senate and the House of Representatives.
According to the report, the Deputy Speaker will be away for some weeks, debunking detractors’ falsehood been circulated in the public that this honorable Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the expected winner of the 55th Speaker of the House of Representatives.
However, some Liberians who spoke to the GNN Liberia during last weekend rubbished negative propaganda been circulated by detractors and enemies of progress, noting that the primary objective by these detractors is to damage the reputation of the incoming Speaker of the 55th National Legislature for what they described as their selfish reason.
In a related development, dozens of lawmakers including the newly elected ones have all pledged their support to the election of Cllr. Jonathan Fonati Koffa as their Speaker for the 55th National Legislature, noting that their support to the Grand Kru County lawmaker is due to his numerous contributions to the growth and development of Liberia’s progress both locally and internationally.
