Boakai’s U.S. Trip Gains Success As He Explains Liberia’s Plight To World Leaders

According to a dispatch from the United States, the Liberian leader, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai and his delegation made a number of strives in putting forward Liberia’s plight to the world, renewing the commitment of a prosperous Liberia.

While in the United States, the Liberian leader made it his duty to interact with top American officials and other world leaders including the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), one of the supporting arms of governments around the world.

According to our research, the MCC was Created by the U.S. Congress in January 2004 with strong bipartisan support, MCC partners with the world’s poorest countries that are committed to just and democratic governance, economic freedom and investing in their populations.

With these meetings held between world leaders and the Liberian leader, we are of the conviction that during these high profile meetings something good in the interest of the Liberian people have been be realized.

MCC provides time-limited grants promoting economic growth, reducing poverty, and strengthening institutions. These investments in core infrastructure and policy and institutional reforms are key interventions that are improving the lives of nearly 270 million people across 46 countries and five continents.
