34 Persons Who Were Arrested In Pleebo For Arson, Detained At Zwedru Correction Palace Reportedly Released On Bill

The 34 persons who were connected to for the burning of several public buildings including the residence of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Bhofal Chambers after the brutal murder of a Motorcylist early this year in Maryland County that resulted to serious protest in the County have reportedly been released on bill,
According to our Maryland County Correspondent, the 34 persons who were charged in April 2021 were detained at the Zwedru Correction Palace in Grand Gedeh County but were released on bill, a situation that pondered people in the County, wondering as to what is behind their release.
The 34 inmates were arrested, charged and incarcerated mid of April 2021, with multiple charges, as a result of allegedly staging protest in solidarity of a late motorcyclist Mordacious Nyemah, who was murdered early this year and resulted into the destruction of public and private properties, and shutdown the county for couple of days.
Reporters in the County have gathered that the defendants were allegedly released on bail, while awaiting Court trial during the August term of court in this year.
It can be recalled that Cllr. Finley Kangar, an astute Liberian cultural lawyer together with family members, relatives and friends of the inmates visited Maryland County mid of May 2021, negotiating with some important stakeholders for the release of the inmates among whom were youth leaders, motorcyclists, some prominent youths and business men.
According to one of the youth members who begged for anonymity, extended thanked and praises to God for their lives and safe arrival in Maryland County.
