Following the withdrawal of the nomination of Cllr. Ndubusi Nwabudike as Chairman of the National Elections Commission (NEC) by the Liberian leader, President George Manneh Weah, unconfirmed report circulation on social media has indicated that the Solicitor General of the Republic of Liberia may like be nominated as Chairman of the NEC.
The report also disclosed that Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala who is currently serving at the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) is expected to replace Cllr. Ndubusi Nwabudike as Chairman of the LACC.
