Turkey deployed 10 tanks to Syrian border
Almaty. January 17. KazTAG – The armed forces of Turkey have deployed at least 10 tanks to the border with Syria, reports TASS news agency.
According to Haberturk TV channel, Turkey will mobilize the Turkish Syrian border, where Ankara may commence operation against Kurds from the party Democratic Union and the group Forces of National Defense.
“Turkey deployed a column of military technique on Sunday, including 5 tanks. 24 items of armed vehicles were deployed to the district of Reikhanly, Turkish border province Hatay,” the message said.
Meanwhile, US said “they are preparing the border security forces of Syria”, including the fighters of the Kurdish coalition Forces of Democratic Syria. According to the US official, “the size of this organization will make about 30 000 people”. They will operate near the border of Turkey.
