The Most fearless And Powerful Officials In Weah’s-Led Gov’t

Leaders around the world usually have their ‘Focus Persons: who in most cases perform the duties of their masters at the most highest peak, be it good or bad.

Here in Liberia, such is no different from what is being practiced by the power that be; there are three individuals considered as the most powerful people in this government.

Liberia’s Finance Minister, Samuel D. Tweah

These individuals, according to GNN survey are: The Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel Falo McGill, the Minister of  Finance, Planning and Development, Samuel Tweah, and the Mayor of the City of Monrovia, Jefferson T. Koijee.

According to the survey, these three individuals are considered as the most powerful people in this government, they are regularly listened to by the president; it is believed that whatever decision taken by them in the running of the country’s governance affairs.

These individuals who are considered as the ‘Eye’ of the presidency, accordingly normally override recommendations from other officials of the government.

“These guys are even powerful than the President; they are untouchable”, a female Liberian lawyer in a chat with GNN said.
