Senator Geraldine Doe-Sheriff Is Dead

News coming from the West African nation of Ghana has reported that one of Liberia’s influential female Senators of Montserrado County, Geraldine Doe-Sherif is dead, after battling with cancer for a little over a year now.

According to report, Senator Doe-Sherif died on Saturday, February, 9, 2019 at the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital in Accra, Ghana, where she had gone for treatment.

Her death has created another by-election at the Liberian Senate.
