Sen. Nuquay Dishes LD3.2M To Several Institutions, Including Students’ Scholarships

In meeting his promises made during the just ended December 8 midterm Senatorial election to his people in Margibi Coiunty, Senator Emmanuel Nuquay has provided huge funding to several schools in the County towards preparing the future leaders of Liberia through scholarships.
According to GNN Correspondent, the 3.2 Million Liberian dollars presented was shared among several communities and schools with the Kakata City receiving two million Liberian Dollars, while the Weala Community in District Number 5 receiving Five Hundred Thousands Liberian Dollars, Dwazon Community in District 1 also received five hundred Liberian dollars, a the New Life, Joezohn and Duwor Town in the Mamba settlement in Lower Margibi will get two hundred thousand Liberian dollars.
Earlier, Senator Emmanuel Nuquay provided five hundred Liberian Dollars for scholarship in Margibi District 2, while students of the St. Paul Ecumenical High School received two hundred thousand Liberian dollars, and two thousand United States Dollars for graduates of the same school paving way for their college education.
These funds, according to our Correspondent are to be managed by specialized committees on educators and prominent citizens of the County including former Superintendent John Buway and James S. Lomol.
