Russian Airstrikes Hit Salat Layramon Area Northern Aleppo

Aleppo (Qasioun) – The Russian warplanes carried out airstrikes on Thursday’s dawn and targeted the Syrian opposition positions in Salat Layramon area near Jamyat Al-Zahraa neighborhood northern Aleppo.

The airstrikes led to only damages in properties, without any casualties reported, during a new escalation by the Syrian regime forces and their allies on Jamyat Al-Zahraa neighborhood, which is considered the last held areas for the Syrian opposition forces in Aleppo city.

The escalation came during reports on opening the international highway of Aleppo – Gaziantep following a Turkish – Russian agreement that joins Aleppo city with the Syrian – Turkish borders.
