CDC Entrust Weah With Another Mandate, As Thousands Show Appreciation

The city of Monrovia and its environs on Saturday, February 4, 2023 designed with the colors of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) as thousands trooped to the Antoinette Tubman Stadium, central Monrovia to appreciate their political leader, President George Manneh Weah under the banner the, ‘One Million Rally’.

Cedecians (Members of the ruling party) on this day were in high gear as they walked to the program, while others took buses apparently sponsored by the party to reach the grounds (ATS) for the occasion, making the entire city and its environs to be locked.

At the ATS supporters of the party were seen singing pro-songs while others danced to the tune of giant-sized speakers with CDC – Weah and Jewel Howard Taylor pro-songs, while nearby entertainment centers were overwhelmed with dozens of Cedecians and onlookers sipping their favorite drinks.

In appreciation of the day, the Liberian leader’ the honoree, President George Manneh Weah posted on his Face Book Page said, “Thank You! Thank You! Thank you! I’m grateful for the confidence reposed in me to run for a 2nd term and for standing with me over the past 5 years. Thanks for all the sacrifices you made to make this day a resounding success. I’m truly grateful!” he told his supporters.
