QNET Meets The Media And Clears The Air About Business Misconception
Officials of QNET, a direct selling e-commerce business have met some media in Monrovia to fraternise with them and clear the air about some misconceptions about the QNET business in the country. The meeting took place on the 20th April, 2021 at the Royal Grand Hotel in Monrovia.
According to the Regional Manager for Subsaharan Africa for QNET, Mr. Biram Fall, the company is purely conducted on an e-commerce module via the website www.qnet.net. He explained that direct selling is a huge global business and many organisations across the world and especially in the United States and Asia are taking advantage of technology to bring goods and services to the doorsteps of their customers. He said QNET business could be done in the comfort of your homes or offices using a phone or computer.
Mr. Biram Fall explained that there are two major paths for anyone who wants to use the company’s products directly or register as an indepedent representative. One could buy and use the products personally or decide to take advantage of the network marketing opportunity offered by the QNET business module and register as an independent representative, IR (which other businesses may describe as distributors). He said as an IR, you have the opportunity to refer other people to buy and use QNET products and your earn commission on your referrals.
Mr. Fall said, as it is common with every company or business sector, there are some challenges with direct selling in general and QNET is not exempted from the general industry issues and challenges. He reiterated that QNET’s business module and the independent representatives that sell the company’s products, are guided by codes of conduct and ethical requirements.
In his interaction with the media, he reminded them that QNET does not promise fixed-salary jobs and it is not a ponzi or investment scheme. It is a simple business that has products and sells directly to individuals across the world including Liberia. He said the company is doing its best to address some concerns raised about some people who are alleged to be doing the business in a wrong way.
