Police To Vigorously Go After ‘Zokors’ At All Cost – Police Inspector General Declares

Following the sudden death of at least 29 persons at Christian crusade in the Borough of New Kru Town, Bushrod Island allegedly as a result of thieves making an attempt to steal from their victims, the Inspector General of the Liberia National Police, Patrick Sudue has declared to arrest all zokors or disadvantage youths who led to the death of people at the crusade.

He sounded the warnings today, January 20, 2022 on state radio, ELBC stressing, “We will arrest all zokors in Monrovia and its environs, this will be done legally; every corner of the city will be searched for them and be placed behind bars,” the Liberian Police Chief declared.

The disadvantage youths or Zokors are always in the habit to rob innocent people of their belongings be it at day or night, many of them are drugs addicts, and can be seen in streets corners harassing people.
