Miss Liberia Organizer Releases First Preliminary Calendar for Auditioning

XL-Entertainment is pleased to announce the start of the Miss Liberia 2021 application process on Wednesday June 23, 2021. Forms will be available at various locations, MICAT, XL-Ent offices, and iCampus for a fee of $25 USD. The application process will continue for a period of fourteen (14) days, ending on the 7th of July 2021. Auditions will then be held from 10th of July to the 31st of July for a period of twenty-one (21) days. The auditions will be conducted on a zonal basis with the following zones:

Zone 1                  Grand Gedeh, Grand Kru, Maryland and River Gee – auditions to be held in

                   Harper City, Maryland County

Zone 2                  Grand Bassa, Sinoe and Rivercess – auditions to be held in Buchanan City,

Grand Bassa County

Zone 3                  Bong, Lofa and Nimba – auditions to be held in Gbarnga City, Bong County

Zone 4                  Bomi, Gbarpolu and Grand Cape Mount – auditions to be held in Tubmanburg City,

Bomi County

Zone 5                  Margibi and Montserrado – auditions to be held in Kakata City, Margibi County

At the close of the auditions, the selected princesses will be informed and apprised of the full schedule and requirements thereof. A maximum of three princesses per county will be selected to widen the talent pool. All selected princesses will be divided into groups that will go head-to-head in various challenges, training, and tasks over a three-month period. During this period at intervals, some princesses will be dropped out of contention. At the conclusion of this process the final fifteen princesses representing their county of origin will be selected, constituting the final contestants to compete for the Miss Liberia crown.

To be eligible to contest in Miss Liberia, one must be 18-27 years old, a high school graduate, unmarried, no child, a clean criminal record, a clean bill of health, originally of female sex, a minimum of 5’6” in heels, of reputable character and deportment.

Prizes to be competed for by the contestants include, vehicles, cash prizes, electronic gadgets such as phones, tablets, iPads, foreign travel, brand ambassadorships with our partners, scholarships, VIP memberships, challenge and task prizes, etc…

Please note that our activities will also be guided by the ongoing response to the global COVID-19 pandemic and are subject to adjustment; however, the process will continue albeit with adjustments due to health and safety concerns of all Liberians.
