Maryland County 55th Legislative Caucus Elects New Officials, Senator J. Gblebo-Bo Brown becomes Chair 

The Maryland County 55th Legislative Caucus has elected its new corps of officials to steer the affairs of the Caucus at its second sitting on Capitol Hill in the office of Senator J. Gblebo-Bo Brown of the County.

At the sitting, members of the Caucus overwhelmingly elected their officers include:  Senator J. Gblebo-Bo Brown; Chairman, Representative P. Mike Jurry; Co-Chairman, Representative Anthony F. Williams; Secretary General, Representative Austin Taylor; Member, and Senator James Bannie, Member.

The caucus members at the end of the process expressed their collective willingness and cooperation to work together for the betterment of the county, as each of the lawmakers promised through the caucus to work with all stakeholders including members of the executive in achieving the needed developmental agenda of the county.

According to a press release, the Caucus asserted that the leadership is not about individual glory, but it is about harnessing the potential of others to thrive and achieve the shared goals, by fostering collaborative and inclusive efforts in leading to remarkable outcomes, “This is the mission of the new Caucus, the Caucus’ release noted.
