A man identified as Zaka Swen who is believed to be in his 60s early Friday morning, September 18, 2020 hanged himself in Pleebo, Maryland County after he allegedly noticed that his wife was having an extra sexual relationship with another man in the same environment.
According to GNN Correspondent in the County, the late Zaka Swen and his wife Helena are doing coal business for their daily survival, but the deceased, according to family sources few weeks ago accused his wife of having extra marital affairs with one of the workers who usually assist them in the business.
Speaking to reporters, Helena said prior to the demise of her husband, the late Swen accused her of having an affairs with their workers, stating, “My husband after accusing me of having extra relationship, he want on the farm destroying everything including my clothes. I complained to our elders about what he did, and the elders decided to intervene, but unfortunately he decided to kill himself”, Helena Doe speaking to reporters said.
For his part Scottville Zone 10th Chairman Mark Kanel said this is not the first time for such thing to happen in their Community, adding, “This is not the first time for this to happen, it has happened on two different occasion ,the first time this happened we invited some people to investigate the matter, but the late Zaka Swen did not listen to us’’ , Kanel told reporters.
However, police in the city are doing further investigation to establish the cause of his death.
