Liberians Joyously Celebrate Their Compatriots Amongst The ‘100 Most Reputable Africans’ In 2023

Recently the Reputation Poll International, a leading global reputation firm, released the 2023 list of the 100 most reputable Africans. The list features individuals from diverse sectors including governance, human rights, education, entertainment, and business.

Some Liberians who spoke to the GNN last weekend expressed gratitude of those Liberians who were selected for their committed, and respected roles in [promoting Liberia on the international map when it comes to their nationalistic contributions which gave rise for their selection to be amongst ‘100 Most Reputable Africans’ in 2023.

These three prominent Liberians who were independently selected to this prestigious lineup were the current Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Cllr. Jonathan Fonati Koffa who came ‘36’ on the list, former Liberian leader; Ellen Johnson Sirleaf who clocked ‘27’, and Peace Activist, Lemah Gbowee who was  listed as the ‘47’, is a blessing to Liberia, and many who spoke on this wholeheartedly congratulated those chosen.

According to the organization who named these prominent Liberians said their selection are graced with integrity, impact and visibility which gave rise for them to be named amongst the rest of those listed.

In addition to the individuals recognised on Reputation Poll International’s “100 Most Reputable Africans” list for their various achievements, there are also those who are celebrated for their contributions to social impact and social entrepreneurship, helping to transform businesses in Africa and positively impacting lives without causing controversy.

Noting further, the organization also stressed that the 100 Most Reputable Africans list is aimed at recognising and celebrating the achievements of individuals making a positive impact in Africa and worldwide.

Those who joyously spoke to the GN after reading the story on international wires, said the news of the selection of particularly the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honorable J. Fonati Koffa is not a strange one by rather ‘Very deserving, and welcoming’ noting that his many contributions to the wellbeing of Liberia’s growth and development, and the empowerment of its citizens must be  lauded.
