Liberian Veteran Journalist, Jesse Benniah Karnley, 80, Is Dead

One of Liberia’s veteran journalists during the 70s and the 80s, Jesse Benniah Karnley who over the years have been in the United States is dead.

The late Karnley was a prominent citizen of Bomi County, according to report, he died September 1st, 2021, in Charlotte, North Carolina, the United States of America.

He was born on October 17th, 1941, during his life time Mr. Karnley was considered as one of the fathers of journalism in Liberia.  He will be remembered for his professional contributions in the field of broadcasting at ELBC now LBS, Liberia’s premier radio station.
