Liberian Muslims Join Millions of Muslims around the World to Celebrate End Of Eid al-Fitr

Hundreds of Muslims around the world joined their fellow Muslims to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr, Muslim Month of Fasting (Ramadan) craving the blessings of Allah for a lasting peace around the world, and to also pray for Allahβs guidance to the world.
Here in Liberia, thousands of Muslims have gathered at the various worship centers around the country to pray for peace and the coexistence amongst the people of Liberia, and to pray for their respective government for a better leadership which will be good in the sight of Allah
Eid al-Fitr commemorates the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, an occasion for special prayers, family visits, gift-giving and charity; it takes place over one to three days, beginning on the first day of Shawwal, the 10th month in the Islamic calendar.
This day also stands for expressing gratitude to the almighty Allah for all that we have, as It is believed that Muslims were commanded by Allah to continue fasting till the last day of Ramadan.
