Following the demise of a prominent citizen of Grand Kru County this week, Robbine Bloh-Nyanti Nyeneh, J. Fonati Koffa yesterday, December 31st, 2020 paid tribute to the bereaved family of the late Nyeneh, expressed his grief.
During his visit to the bereaved family at the traditional mat of the late Robbine Bloh-Nyanti Nyeneh in the Doe Community, the Grand Kru County District #2 Representive, edged with compassion and with tears, extended his deepest regrets, noting that “the late Robbine will forever be missed amongst his kinsmen, we are yet to accept his death… however, our thoughts and prayers are with you…may our condolences bring comfort and may our prayers ease the pain of this loss.”
On his Facebook page on Wednesday, Cllr. Koffa described the fallen Strike Force member, a “Decision Maker.”
Witnesses said on Tuesday, the crushing news on the death of Robbine sent torrential tears in the eyes of Rep. Koffa as he stood with stoic poise in a somewhat dumbstruck shock.
The late Nyeneh died on Tuesday, December 29 in Benson Hospital in Duport Road after a protracted sickness. He predeceased his eight (8) children — five boys and three girls; brothers, sisters and other relatives. He was 48 years old.
He was the Chief advisor for Taybue-Buah to Hon. Cllr . Koffa in his political sojourn.
Most of the late Nyeneh’s decisions were always taken under advisements.
According to family sources, they were considered “cousins” because Rep. Koffa’s mother and the Nyeneh’s parents hailed from Taybue.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Office Staff to Hon. Cllr. Koffa, Mr. Hilary S. Koffa, indicated that the office will obviously commit to the funeral and burial of the fallen Taybue-Buah advisor and strike force member.
COS Kofa furthered said since 2011, the office has been shouldering the responsibilities of over 30 children — children of former field soldiers who had honorably died in active political struggles.
“Politically, we choose to serve. And when we choose to serve, sometimes chance chooses us, ” COS and Strike Force Commandant Koffa mourned.
