LIBERIA: On Fishtown Highway, Vehicle Runs Through Security Checkpoint, Killing One, Critically Injuring Several

Report from south eastern Liberia, Rivergee County, specifically on Fish Town highway has disclosed that driver of a vehicle returning from Maryland County to Grand Gedeh County ran through a joint security checkpoint despite being stopped by security killing one person and wounding several persons.

According to the report, the driver of the vehicle who drove near the checkpoint based on joint security request, violently drove through the checkpoint killing one person and critically wounding several others.

The driver when quizzed said his vehicle lose control while reaching near the checkpoint, he has however been detained, according to the report aired on a local radio station.
