LIBERIA: NYI CEO Cautions Youth to Engage in positive Venture

Mr. Mohammed Nasser, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nasser Youth Initiatives (NYI) is calling on young people across the Country to engage is positive undertakings in order to become self-reliance if they are to contribute to the transformations of the Country under the Weah led government Pro-Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development.

The Nasser Youth Initiatives is a Non Governmental Organization established to give hope to less fortunate Liberians by creating programs designs to discover their potentials.

It was founded by a group of young man some years back and name in honor of a young man of Bong County, Mr. Mohammed Nasser former President of the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) and is currently serving as the Technical Team Manager for the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE).

Addressing a cross session of citizens recently in Salala District, Bong County Mr. Nasser stated that there is a needs for young people of the Country to engross in community initiatives for the overall good of the Country.

CEO Mohammed Nasser said the Nasser Youth Initiatives (NYI) as a Non Governmental Organization and a non profitable institution they remains committed in providing opportunities for Liberians that are prepare and wanting to exceed in life. According to him, major of Liberians youth are venerable and in that light they are to be given attention adding that Liberia will be better if young people are empowered to take on the leadership of the Country.

He at the same time said, being a former President of the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) and a Students advocate over the past years, Youth leaders across the Country are expected to benefits from the NYI across the Country.

The Nasser Youth Initiatives CEO has at the same time extended open invitations to all Liberians to subscribe to the institution membership and is also seeking helps from other humanitarian’s organizations, well-meaning Liberian and the government of Liberia supports for the betterment of the NYI and the Country at large.
