The National Elections Commissions (NEC) has certificated Montserrado County Senator – elect, Abraham Darius Dillon.
Senator – elect, Dillon was certificated Friday,August 9, 2019 at the NEC Headquarters in Sinkor after he was declared as winner in the just ended Montserrado County’s Senatorial By – Elections, held alongside also the District #15 Montserrado County Representative Election.
He has vowed to declare and to publish his assets and liabilities and thanked his fellow contestants for congratulating him on his victory, indicating that, “This symbolizes that Liberia has won; and let it represent unity among all of us Liberians”.
Speaking earlier, Commissioner Sarah Toe, said the ballot box is the surest way to change leadership in the country, which shows that Liberia’s democracy is working.
