Liberia National Police Mourns Former Region 3 Commander

The Administration of the Liberia National Police wishes to inform all personnel that the funeral services of the late DCP. Morris T. Teamah (former Region 3 Commander) is slated for the 5th and 6th of April, 2024 in Gbarnga City, Bong County.
The late Deputy Commissioner of Police, Teamah joined the Liberia National Police on February 6, 1996 with the rank of Patrolman and was subsequently assigned at the Special Task Force Division.
He was a graduate of the UNMIL Basic Recruit Class-5 of the Delta Platoon at the Liberia National Police Academy and Training School (LNPTAS) where he obtained a certificate in Basic Police Science in 2005.
On September 19, 2005, he completed the ‘Combat Operations Training’ at the Mobile Force Training College, PMB1630 in Maiduguri, Nigeria.
On July 16, 2008, he was appointed as the General Commander of the Police Support Unit (PSU) at the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and later as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in 2010.
He served as Acting General Commander of Bong County, Commander of Nimba and Commander of Region 3 since 2016 till his demise.
The late general Commander of Bong, Lofa and Nimba served the LNP for Twenty-Eight (28) unbroken years with distinction, commitment and dedication.
The opening and signing of the book of condolence is Friday, April 5, 2024 at 4:00PM, at the Gbarnga Administrative Building, Bong County.
Funeral services and internment is Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1:00PM to bid farewell to the late Bong, Lofa and Nimba Counties Commander.
All Departments, Divisional, Sectional heads, County and Zone & Depot Commanders are to be present in Gbarnga City, Bong County on April 5, 2024 at 1:00PM to bid farewell to the late Deputy Commissioner of Police, Morris Teamah.
It is the wish of the Inspector General of Police, Hon. Gregory O. W. Coleman, his Deputies, Men and Women in Blue that the soul of the late DCP. Morris Torkayee Teamah rest in perfect and Light perpetual shine upon him.
