LIBERIA: MOVEE Threatens To Revisit ‘Collaborating’ Agreement With Ruling Party

Mr. Dan Sayeh

The Executive Committee of the Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE) has threatened to revisit the ‘MOU’ that made it to collaborate with the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), giving reason that the party has not realize any gains since the collaboration.

Addressing reporters after their Executive Committee emergency meeting last weekend, MOVEE said it is taken this decision in order to know its role in the collaboration with the CDC, noting that MOVEE will be revisiting the MOU any time from now. MOVEE  was part of several other political parties that pledged support to the CDC in the runoff elections 2017.

Dan Sayeh who is now Chairman of the Party was National Chairman for Administration prior to his ascendancy, he resigned 2019 as Deputy Managing Director for Technical Services at the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC).
