From Musa Moore Sherman GNN Correspondent | Nimba County |

Dozens of motorcyclists in Ganta Nimba County on Friday, November 27. 2020 angrily disrupted the burial of their late friend, only identified as Samuel Selleh who was allegedly killed by Deputy Police Commander Sencee Coue on March 8, 2020.

According to our Correspondent in the County, the motorcyclists admitted that their action was a result of their late friend remains that the said has reportedly spent over nine months since he was taken to the Gompa Funeral home and is yet to be buried.

Before their actions that brought Ganta to a standstill for about 2 hours, there were representatives from the family that went at the funeral home to confirm whether it was their body.

According to our source it was the father of the late Samuel Selleh, Mr.  Paye Selleh that raised the contention that “this is not my son”, a situation that led the cyclists to pick up the body from the burial site and told it on motorcycle back to the funeral home.

Meanwhile the Liberia national police were able to put the situation under control as they are pursuing those linked with the riot that disrupted the burial ceremony.

Details will follow in our subsequent posting
