LIBERIA: Mother Of 7-Year-Old Rape Victim Seeks Urgent Financial Help From Several Groups Including First Lady Clar Weah

The mother of the 7-year-old child who was allegedly raped by a man believed to be in his early 30s in the commercial City of Pleebo, Maryland County is seeking financial support from humanitarian organizations and individuals for a better medical treatment for her child.

Speaking to GNN Liberia Maryland Correspondent, the mother of the rape victim said since two months ago, her child who was sexually tempered with finding it very difficult to walk by herself despite spending weeks at the hospital both in Pleebo and Harper Cities.

She further disclosed to GNN Liberia of making appeal to the First Lady of Liberia, Madam Clar Marie Weah to financially come to her rescue in order to save her daughter’s life.

According to the mother, her child was raped on the 24 of June, 2022 allegedly by one Robert Toe, 33 years while sleeping; she was sexually abused.

GNN Liberia has gathered that the perpetrator has since been arrested, and placed behind bars awaiting trial.
