LIBERIA: Minister Tweah Assures LISGIS Of Increased Budgetary support

Liberia’s Minister of Finance and Development Planning Minister, Samuel Tweah, has assured the Liberian Institute of Statistics and Geo-Information Services (LISGIS) of increased budgetary support in the next fiscal year.

Minister Tweah said:” Given the importance of LISGIS, it needs crucial support in order to achieve its overall mandate.”

The Liberian Finance Minister spoke Wednesday, October 6, 2021, during the official launch of LISGIS Website and E-recruitment platform ahead of the 2022 census.

Minister underscored the importance of census in drawing national development plan for Liberia.

Meanwhile, Swedish Ambassador to Liberia, Urban Sjostrom, pledged Sweden’s commitment to sustaining with LISGIS ahead of the 2022 census.
