LIBERIA: Local Residents In Pleebo Crave For Support

Residents and citizens of Giant town in Pleebo Sodoken district, Maryland County on March 17, 2021 opened a local market, and are urgently calling on the central government to their rescue by empowering them financially.
Speaking to reporters during the opening ceremony, the newly appointed Market Superintendent of Giant town, Harris H. Newville said the Market was established to help the people in that region to have their own market structure.
He noted that the people of that particular area in Maryland County have been suffering over the past time Carry their goods to Pleebo such as Cassava, Potatoes, Plantains, and many more.
The Superintendent of the Market is calling on the Liberian government and humanitarian organizations to help them construct a market building for the town.
Mary Market women in the were excited over the opening of a new market in the area, noting, “We are indeed happy for this market here in Our area let the government and humanitarian organizations come and build us a Market Hall, because we are suffering here our market building is not in good condition, the woman speaking to the GNN joyfully explained.
Gracing, the occasion was the Market Superintendent of Pleebo general Market Mr: Paul K. Ninpson who pledged his supporter to the local market in the County stressing, “As l am the market Superintendent of Pleebo General Market I will give my full support to this market here in Giant town”, he assured.
