As Liberia Inaugurate World’s Football Legend As President, George Weah, Cleric Wants Him Seek God’s Face
As Liberia’s soccer legend, Senator George Manneh Weah set to be inaugurated on Monday, January 22, 2018 as the Country’s 25th President, Liberians from all sectors of the Country including religious leaders are craving for God’s protection over the leadership of role of their president.
The Reverence Charles B. Roberts of the Faith Healing Temple of Jesus Christ speaking at the Church’s regular Sunday service today, January 21, 2018, urged Liberia’s new President to thread on wisdom of God and use the Holy Bible as his guardians during his leadership.
“Our new leader must use the Holy Bible during his leadership sojourn, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but the word of God will remain, as our leader, many will talk in his ears; some will behave to love him, while others will castigate his works, but he should remember that without the protection of God he will thread the journey of failure. The cross of Jesus is the hope of our lives,” Rev. Roberts told his congregation.
He further lauded Liberians who stood firm during the election which subsequently led to the election of Senator George Weah, noting, “I applaud Liberians for their tolerance, especially during after just ended elections; we are grateful to God for his protection,” Rev. Roberts in a rather spiritual sermon stressed.
