LIBERIA: In Maryland County, Cummings Bid For 2023 Presidency Swells

The political leader of the opposition Alternative National Congress (ANC), whose quest is to win the 2023 presidential elections, Alexander Benedict Cummings is said to be making headway in the southeastern county of Maryland, as a political pressure group, Weight for Actual Change (WFAC) has formerly pledged its support to the ANC political leader.
The group in a prepared statement delivered during a colorful program organized and held at the ANC local headquarter in Harper City, Maryland County, the head of the group, Michael B. Stemn Sr, disclosed that his organization previously known as Friends For Election Supporters is prepared to carry Cummings as their preferred choice during the 2023 elections.
Speaking on behalf of the citizens, Stemn said he is pleased to speak on behalf the people Maryland county, from Barrobo, Karluway, Pleebo Sodoken, and the Harper district to inform him that they are ready to working with Alexander Cummings in his bid for the presidency.
He said in 2017 general and presidential elections, they overwhelmingly supported the presidential candidate of the current government, the Coalition For Democracy Change (CDC) President George M. Weah ,but this time he said they are resolute to support Alexander B. Cummings as the next President of Liberia, adding, “We will do everything possible to campaign for him from Village to Village, Town to Town and in every sector of the county”, Mr. Stemn vowed.
Accepting the position statement, the local chairperson of ANC in the County Oliver Hne expressed thanks and appreciation to the group for being so fast to make such decision, noting, “Let us all work together for the success of our Political leader Alexander B Cummings comes 2023”, the county chairperson added.
