LIBERIA: Executive Presidential Security Guard Admits Murdering Citizen

Agent of the executive presidential guard, the Executive Protection Agency (EPA),  Agent Patrick Kollie has admitted of discharging  of firearms which led to the death of ordinary citizen; but attributes his action to self-defense against criminals attack

The Liberia National Police have charged and forwarded to Court,  Executive Protection Service agent, Patrick Kollie, who allegedly shot- dead Valentine Johnson in the Police Academy Community.

Defendant Kollie told police preliminary Investigation that while on his way to his Police Academy residence at 9PM; he encountered some alleged criminals, who tried to molest him, thereby impeding his movement.

The police report states, which during the process, suspect Kollie fired a round behind the aggressors, which penetrated Valentine Johnson’s left eye and exited the back of his head, leaving him dead.

Disrobed EPS Agent Patrick Kollie admitted to discharging live bullets, but said he was attacked by the group of Criminals who attempted to takeaway his assigned firearm.
