LIBERIA: Dr. Laurence Konmla Bropleh Makes Huge Donation To Several Communities In Buchanan

President George Manneh Weah Special Envoy, ad Former Minister of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism, Dr. Laurence Konmla Bropleh has publicly demonstrated his continuous efforts to buttress the national fight against the deadly coronavirus or COVID-19 by making significant donations to some communities in Grand Bassa County.

Dr. Bropleh over the weekend donated 4 new Dueler/ Bridgestone tyres to the Buchanan Central prison in Upper Buchanan to be used on the prison’s vehicle, a Nissan Patrol, at the excitement and jubilation of prison superintendent Maj. Tom Butler Kamala, his principal deputy Charity and other members of the prison including inmates, praised Dr Bropleh for the donation .

He furthered stated that the fact that the Central prison is located in his place of birth, Upper Buchanan, it was moral duty to ensure the safety of all citizens in Grand Bassa is maintain.

In response, the chief superintendent of the prison Major Tom Butler Kamala thanked Dr Bropleh for what he termed as ‘always being there man’ for the Buchanan Central prison when we call upon him.

Major Kamala said He recently took over as superintendent of the prison and immediately call upon Dr Bropleh to assist in the refurbishing of the correction offices and the repair of the only prison vehicle, which was swiftly provided by Dr. Larry Bropleh in giving the Central Prison face-lift.

“In addition to repairing the vehicle at a cost of over US 500 and tyres cost US$640 in total of US$ 1’140 dollar, Dr Bropleh donated several bags of rice,oil, cubes, along with hand washing buckets, detergents and other assorted items to many families across Grand Bassa County, including the old folks home in central Buchanan where many are visually impaired and physical challenged.
