LIBERIA: Disbanded AFL Soldiers Honor PLP Political Leader, Dr. Daniel E. Cassell

The Executive committee of the disbanded soldiers of the Armed Forces of Liberia today bestowed honor upon the vision bearer and political leader of the People’s Liberation Party (PLP, Dr. Daniel E. Cassell at the offices of the group on Carey Street, central Monrovia.

At the colorful occasion, the head of the disbanded soldiers, Captain Jerry Kollie, expressed gratitude to Dr. Cassell for the level of works he has done over the shortest period of time and appreciation for the level of good works Dr. Cassell has done for the people of Liberia.

For his part, the honoree, Dr. Cassell in receiving the honor expressed profound gratitude for the honor and assured the disbanded soldiers of his unwavering support and cordial working relationship between the group and the People’s Liberation Party (PLP). Dr. Cassell also lauded the group for their services to the people of Liberia over the years.

He assured the ex-soldiers for a better Liberia under the stewardship of the People’s Liberation Party (PLP), In furtherance, Dr. Cassell pledged donations of generator, office equipment and renewal of lease agreement of the office space used by the disbanded soldiers.

On his way to the People Liberation Party’s headquarters in Congo town, some  jubilant motorcyclists of central Monrovia  in their number escorted the PLP leader to his headquarters.

The head of the motorcyclists in person of Edward B. Tarpeh, expressed thanks and appreciation to Dr. Cassell for the many assistances the vision bearer of the People’s Liberation Party (PLP) has given to  Liberians, acknowledging the commissioning of buses, dedication of market buildings, hand pumps, bridges and scholarships to Liberians.
