As the 2023 General elections draw closer, the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) seems to be getting the green light to govern Liberia for another six years, six opposition political parties have pledged their support to the governing Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) during the upcoming elections.
The six political parties that pledged their support include: Change Democratic Action, Liberia National Union and Redemption Democratic Congress, others are the Union of Liberia Democrat, United People Party and the Liberia Transformation Party.
Reading the statement of support, as contained in the MOU, the Chairman of the Union of Liberia Democrat, Prince Varney, said the signing of the MOU by the parties is predicated on the peace and security as well as the enabling environment the CDC government has created in the country.
