LCC, LIBA To Host Another Trade Fair On Saturday

The Liberia Chamber of Commerce (LCC) and the Liberia Business Association (LIBA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry will this Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 9:00am to 5:00pm host another ‘Made in Liberia’ Trade Fair.

According to a press release from the Liberia Chamber of Commerce (LCC), Dr. George Manneh Weah, President of the Republic of Liberia is expected to grace this occasion, where dozens of local producers will have on display their products.

This Saturday event will be the second in the series which takes at the end of each month, the first event took place last December, 2018 where locally made products were put on display for public viewing.

This even will bring together producers of made in Liberia products, aimed at promoting the country homemade products.

The release said organizers of this event are calling on all locally made products and manufacturers to show up with their respective producers in order to put on display products being produced locally. The event will be held on Ashmun Street (Between Buchanan and Center Streets.

Over the past months the LCC and LIBA have been making all efforts to internationally expose locally made product, with this most recent event taken place in Cairo, Egypt forming part of the Intra-African Trade Fair 2018.

Prior to the Intra-African Trade Fair 2018 in Cairo, Egypt, Liberia made her presence felt at the AGOA Trade Fair in the United States where dozens of Liberians were opportune for the first time to be a part of such international event.
