Ivorian Ambassador To Liberia Pays Courtesy Call On Liberia Chamber Of Commerce Executives
Ivorian Ambassador accredited to Liberia HEM Fen Kouakoua and his staff on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 paid a courtesy call on the President of the Liberia Chamber of Commerce (LCC), Mr. J. Wendell Addy at the LCC’s Queens Avenue office in Monrovia.
Ambassador Kouakoua who was accompanied by two of his officials including Toh Te’tiali Roland and Akabla Bruce met with the President, Vice President and Secretary General of the Liberia Chamber of Commerce, Mr. J. Wendell Addy, Assad Barbar and Ms. Stephanie SalaMartu Duncan with both discussing issues of importance relating to both countries and the chambers.
During the discussion, both agreed to establish cordial relations that will enhance trade between both countries, the creation of check points that will improve the working relationship and put into place professional customs and security in order to alleviate those things that will derail transporting raw materials from one country to another.
In trade enhancement, both agreed to jointly impress on their respective countries ( Liberia and Ivory Coast) produce tires, the supply of iron ore and other materials that would be useful for trade investments for the benefit of the sub region.
The Liberia Chamber of Commerce and its Ivorian partner will in shortest period of time will sign an MOU aimed at improving trade and investments, and also it was discussed that both countries will undertake to organize a trade fair in order to publicly exhibit their respective products which will also built a stronger tie between both countries and their respective chamber of commerce.
