In Saudi Arabia Expatriate’s wife found murdered
The slit-throat body of the wife of an expatriate in Saudi Arabia was found in her house at Basail upazila yesterday.
The deceased was Monoara Begum, 42, wife of Dhala Khan of Nothkhola Pouli village.
Monoara lived alone in the house as her husband and son Al-Amin have been working in Saudi Arabia for the last few years.
Seeing the body in her room in the morning, locals informed police, said Basail Police Station Officer-in-Charge Jahangir Alam.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Tangail General Hospital morgue for autopsy, he said.
Locals said Monoara had a dispute over land with a neighbour for long.
