In Grand Cape Mount County By-election Senatorial Poll, Contestants At Neck To Neck, As Victor Watson Leads

Yesterday, October 5, 2019 senatorial by-election in Grand Cape Mount County was a neck to neck campaign involving seven candidates fighting to replace Edward Dagoseh who died following a protracted illness early this year.

According to report, those in the race include Matthew V.S. Darblo, Sr. of the Vision for Liberia Transformation (VOLT), Kula Bona Nyei Fofana of the Coalition for Liberia’s Progress C(CLP), Daoda Vatoma Metzger an Independent Candidate, Boima Simeon Taylor of the Alternative National Congress (ANC), Dabah Mabande Varpilah of the Unity Party (UP), Victor Varney Watson of People’s Unification Party (PUP)and Sando Wayne of the United People’s Party (UPP).

According to information gathered has revealed that Dabah early led in Robertsport, Darblo in Vunzula, while Sando Wayne focus has grabbed Tewor. Victor Watson who report say is being supported by the ruling establishment is said to be the next Senator.

The election ended yesterday, awaiting the official result of the National Elections Commission
