Court in Ganta, Nimba County has charged a man, 33years old for beating on his wife almost to death in an area call Mino town of “Whylor village” Nimba County District # 2.
According to GNN Correspondent in the county, quoting police record, suspect Emmanuel Gboe was arrested and charged with aggravated assault for beating his wife on the farm after she allegedly refused to speak to him, whenever he many an attempt to speak to her.
Our reporter speaking to the victim identified as to what actually took place prior to her being manhandled by her husband, Kou Meayea said her husband always accused her extra love affairs.
The incident which took place on June 25, 2020 drew the attention of the Women and Children Division of the Liberia National police the following day the husband was arrested due to the seriousness of the case. The Ganta Magisterial Court is handling the case.
