In Ganta: FEJA Conducts Three Days Capacity Building Training For Over 50 Journalists In Nimba County

The female journalist Association of Liberia ( FEJA) has ended a three – day capacity building workshop for community radio journalist in Nimba County.
According to GNN Nimba County Correspondent, the training is brought together over 50 participants from several community radio stations in the county including Voice of Gompa, RKFM, Hott FM, Radio Nimba, Radio Saclepea among several others.
The three days’ workshop focused on Gender Sensitive Reporting for Liberian Journalists based in the county was held in Ganta City at a local Guest.
Some of the topics looked into included the importance of Gender; reporting SGBV, COVID-19 and its Impact on Women, The Media’s Role in covering Sexual and Gender – based Violence are few of the topics that was discussed.
Participants of the two days events appreciated FEJAL for the training and maintained that they will make sure that sexual base violence issues will be highly effective at their respective institutions.
