Former Maryland County Senator, John Ballout Identify With Radio Harper, Donates Set Of Desktop Computer

As a means empowering one of the community radio stations in Harper, Maryland County, the former Senator of the County, John Ballout graciously donated a set of desktop computer to the management of the County oldest radio station, Radio Harper yesterday, June 3, 20202

Making the presentation, Harper District Coordinator in the office of Mr. Ballout,  Sam Wilson lauded the efforts of the station for its professional services over the years; informing the people of the county by creating awareness on the danger COVID-19 poses to the lives of the people.

 For his part, the head of Radio Harper, Emmanuel Y. Prowd expressed thanks and appreciation to Mr. Ballout for the donation, and said the item presented will be used for its intended purpose.

Meanwhile, Mr. John A. Ballout speaking in an interview via mobile phone with reporters promised to play, what he called, a major role in revamping the station, noting that the station which is the oldest in the County has given birth to  several practicing and Professional Journalists in their quest to do the job which is their passion.

Mr. Ballout speaking also said, when he got the news that the station is back on the air, with some serious challenges, he thought it wise to identify with the station by providing with a set of desktop computer which was urgently needed.
