Food shortage Hits Harper Prison Center In Southeastern Liberia

Report reaching this outlet has hinted that prisoners at the Harper Prison Center are dying slowly due to serious hunger as a result of food shortage in Harper, Maryland County, southeastern Liberia.

According to the report, prison authority in the County is calling on the Liberian government through the Ministry of Justice to quickly move in to provide food items in order to avoid deaths among prisoners who are behind bars and cannot afford to hustle for food.

As a result of this situation, prisoners at this center are reportedly draining down, meaning losing weight backed with poor health complications.
