Disaster Hits Kakata: As Referrer CH Rinnie Hospital Burnt To Ashes

Report from Kakata, Margibi County says the only referrer hospital in the county, the CH Rannie Hospital has burnt down to ashes with patients and nurses running for their lives amid the outbreak of the fire.

As the fire continue, men of the Liberia Fire Service Department could not be seen on the scene, only members of the joint security, and the county authority were on the ground as the fire continues it bid to destroy. Employees of the Liberia Water & Sewer Corporation and officers of the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency are on hand to help in putting up the fire.

However, some officers who were spotted on the ground, including one of the officers who was identified as Col. Dukuly said they do not have fire fighting equipment, and therefore called on the Liberian government to supply the Margibi County Fire Service Department with fire fighting equipment including fire truck.

Many facilities including the delivery room and the operating theater were completely burnt to ashes, a situation that that grief the entire county.
