Deputy Speaker Koffa Announces Schedule to Celebrate Reelection Victory over Racking  ‘Endorsements’

Liberia’s Deputy Speaker and Grand Kru County District #2 Representative, Cllr. Jonathan  Fonati Koffa, has positively reiterated his overwhelming  reelection on Tuesday, October 10  and poised to make history as the first re-elected representative of District #2, Grand Kru County,

During Friday’s endorsement ceremonies from  the people of Doeswen and the Nimba Community in Grand Kru County, Cllr. Koffa expressed thanks and appreciation for the unsurprising endorsements ahead of the October 10’s polls, revealing  that he will begin his formal reelection victory in Doeswen, Bolloh on Wednesday, October 11.

The people of Chengbetee and Weayen, too, agreed, to reelect Cllr. Koffa.

“Thank you for the endorsements and I know on October 10, you all will vote number four on the Representative ballot paper. Also vote President Weah; number 18 on the Presidential ballot and Senator Tugbe Chie; number one on the Senatorial ballot,” Cllr. Koffa said.

The Deputy Speaker seems to be 99.9% confident of  his reelection and there are reports that the 2023  campaign launch of Cllr. Koffa  under the theme: “Yes, Re-elect JFK” is resonating among the people of Grand Kru County following enormous developmental initiatives and other accomplishments— the  construction of six schools, renovation of two health centers and their facilitation, two radio stations, 23 hand pumps, the rendering of  financial aids and scholarships to over 4,000 students from primary to higher education under six years.

Also, the Deputy Speaker’s contribution to the renovations of roads, micro loans, job creation and the representation of his constituents’ interests in the Legislature are unmatched and cannot be overemphasized.

Prior to Friday’s endorsement in Upper Bolloh, there were also endorsements in other communities and statutory districts including Buah, Jloh, and  Kplio.

According to the itinerary, the Deputy Speaker is expected to visit Lower Bolloh on Saturday and climax the campaign in Sasstown on Sunday.

Saturday and Sunday’s  endorsements will constitute about 82.5% of the communities and registered voters,  which also means about 18,000 of the 22,143 registered persons have endorsed the reelection of the Deputy Speaker and may vote for him.

Meanwhile, District #2 in Grand Kru County has 22,143 registered voters while District #1 has about 20,000 votes.

According to the Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) of the National Election Commission (NEC), the six statutory districts have the following registered voters: Dorbor (Bolloh)  4, 385;  Kplio (Barclayville) 4, 256; Buah 4,059: Forpoh 3,922; Sasstown  3,207 and Jloh 2,304.
