STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Police are searching for a teacher from Staten Island who has been missing since the weekend.
Investigators say Jeanine Cammarata, 37, was last seen Saturday.
Friends say the substitute teacher at PS 29 was first reported missing by her boyfriend on Tuesday when she didn’t show up for work.
The mother of three is currently going through a divorce and did not appear for a scheduled appearance in family court on Tuesday.
According to police, Cammarata was last seen around 9 p.m. near the corner of Nehring and McVeigh avenues in New Springville.
Sources say her car was seen being driven over the Verrazzano Bridge Sunday night but it’s unclear if she was inside the vehicle.
She is described as being 4’11” tall, weighing 120 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
Police say she drives a white, 2017 Chevy Cruz, with New York plate HSK8417.
