City Court Judge, Jomah Jallah  Subpoena Senator Nyonblee Kanger Lawrence and 16 others

The Monrovia City Court Judge Jomah Jallah has issued a writ of Subpoena Duce Stecum Ad- Testificandum against seventeen persons in connections to the alleged forgery and criminal conspiracy case before the Monrovia city court.

Those Subpoenaed include Liberty Party Political Leader, Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, Montserrado county Senator Abraham Darius Dillon, Isaac Mannah Former Chairman Mo Ali Secretary- General Ahmed Modal Current National Chairman of the Liberty Party.

Others are former Liberty Party Chairman Senator Steve Zargo , Augustine  Frederick Executive Member  Jeremy Russell Executive Member Wedie Powell of the ANC , Alexander B. Cummings, Aloysius  Toe, Senator Daniel Netaahn,  Ignatius Wesseh, Cllr. Benedict Sannoh ,   Cllr. Gloria Musu Scott, and Amb Joseph Boakai .

The subpoena individuals are to appear before to court to answer to various questions and to produce and testify to the originals of the resolutions executed by the ALP, UNITY Liberty Party and the ANC which were presented to him by Mo Ali regarding the formation of the CPP which ultimately led to the signed of the framework document on May 19, 2020

For the head of political office at the national elections commission Ignatius Wesseh is expected to  produce the original of the framework document and the letter covering it  that were filed by  Defendants Alexander B. Cummings and Aloysius Toe  of the ANC.

Accordingly the former ruling unity party standard Joseph N. Boakai is to specifically testify his role, responsibilities and activities, with the CPP, what gave rise to the formation of the CPP, before and after the signing ceremony of the CPP framework document.

In another development  Former Ruling Unity Party standard bearer Amb Joseph Boakai Tuesday April 19, failed to appear before the Monrovia city court despite a writ of subpoena Duces Tecum Ad-Testificandum due to his alleged failure to receive the writ from the sheriff.

On Thursday April 14, prosecutions lawyers headed by Liberia solicitor General Cllr. Seyrinus Cephus prayed the city court judge Jomah Jallah to subpoena Amb Boakai which a writ of Subpoena Duce Stecum Ad-Testificandum was taken to Amb Boakai Rehab resident.

But during Tuesday proceedings the sheriff reported that on the 15 of April he took the writ at the Unity Party Headquarters and he was informed that the party standard bearer was not present , that he was at his Rehab residence.

Sheriff Nathaniel Dennis indicated in his return that on the following day he again took the report at Amb Joseph Boakai home and he was informed by an EPS officer only identified as Fredrick that the UP standard bearer was getting dressed up in the house.

Dannie further informed the court that the EPS officer gave him a seat to await the Ambassador that he was going to announce to him until he was later informed that the UP standard bearer had gone root of Gardnerville.

During Tuesday proceeding prosecution lawyers prayed the court to declare the former Unity Party current standard deposition so as to show cause why he should not be held in contempt by the court.

Despite the prosecution lawyers pleading the defense lawyers headed by Cllr. Abraham B Sillih, requested the court to quash the plead by the Prosecuting lawyers.
