Bai Best Takes Over ‘Daily Observer’ From His Father

The Liberian Daily Observer Corporation, publisher of one of Liberia’s oldest independent dailies, The Daily Observer has been taken over by Mr. Bai Best from his father, Liberia’s veteran journalist, Mr. Kenneh Y. Best as Managing Director to manage this reputable media outlet.

Founded by Mr. and Mrs. Best in the early 1980s, this paper has full-fledged the professional minds of upcoming Liberian journalists who now run their own media outlets including the Managing Editor of The Inquirer newspaper, Attorney Philip N. Wesseh.

During the colorful ceremony with invited guest and family members, Mr. Best said that it was time to hand over the operation to the younger generation as he has played his role for so many years, wishing his son all best in continuation of his legacy.
